SDG 17 - Partnership for the Goals

Introduction

At Redeemer's University, our mission for Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals is to build effective collaborations across sectors to achieve sustainable development. Our committed researchers play an active role in national government and regional NGO SDG policy development, addressing challenges, shaping strategies, and modeling sustainable futures. This includes monitoring interventions, providing data, and supporting adaptive management to ensure the effectiveness of policies.

We actively foster cross-sectoral dialogue through conferences that bring together government bodies, NGOs, and academic institutions, creating a platform for exchanging knowledge and shaping SDG-related policies. These events offer opportunities to develop innovative solutions to complex global challenges.

Additionally, Redeemer’s University collaborates with NGOs through student volunteering programs, research initiatives, and the development of educational resources aimed at achieving the SDGs. Our students engage with these NGOs, contributing to local and regional projects that focus on solving critical issues such as poverty, education, and climate change.

These partnerships allow Redeemer's University to amplify its impact in addressing the SDGs through a collaborative approach, working hand-in-hand with other sectors to drive lasting global change. By leveraging expertise, fostering dialogue, and mobilizing resources, we ensure that our commitment to sustainable development reaches beyond our campus and into the wider global community.
